About the event
MapRun is a new format of biking for fun and fitness.
Bringing electric mountain biking to the forefront, individual and team challenges designed for those who enjoy the outdoors, where riders navigate set GPS mapped checkpoints ,either in random or numerical order within set times.
It is a form of Orienteering that uses SmartPhones for punching and timing, avoiding the need to put flags and SI units out on the course.
Courses can be left open for extended periods of time provided instant, feedback, with track, personal result and leaderboard screens.
Our events will expand your horizons, and help you become more confident in exporing new areas as your map reading skills are tested and developed among other like minded riders.
Events are published by organisers and can be selected from a menu in the App.
